The Peyrat Prestige Rosé is from the Seigneurie de Peyrat, which is situated just outside the town of Pézenas in the South of France. Their vineyards are located between the villages of Alignan du Vent and Tourbes. Surrounded by vineyards that stretch to the pretty village of Alignan, the Seigneurie de Peyrat is one of the Languedoc’s oldest and most respected vineyards. Dating back to Roman times, the château that exists now was constructed in the 17th century, long before the ‘wine rush’ of the 19th century that ushered in most of the region’s other chateaux. The estate has steadily built up a reputation as one of the finest wine-makers in Languedoc, with a wide range of delicious wines that are highly respected by wine experts. The vineyards cover XX hectares, and 16 different types of grape are grown.
The Peyrat Prestige Rosé is an emblematic rosé with notes of fruit and a freshness that evokes the Mediterranean sunshine. Light and well-balanced rosé. A fun wine, fresh and delicious with notes of citrus. It is a true rosé from the Languedoc.
