There is a strength of the terroir that is present in these wines; Pim Pam Poom, S, Terram, Planassos and La Pujada. The wines are elaborated with native varieties such as Grenache and Carignan, some of which can be over 60 years old. Saó del Coster works its lands in harmony, so as to express an elegant and honest vision of the Priorat through its wines. The plots Planassos and La Pujada are both located in the municipality of Gratallops, DOQ Priorat. The Saó del Coster team works traditionally and follows a minimum intervention philosophy in terms of agriculture as well as winemaking, respects nature’s cycles, uses biodynamic treatments in its lands and animal traction and the moon calendar for all of the work in the vineyards as well as the cellar. Their dedication is based on the desire to revive a way of working that is currently rarely used and can create deep wines with great personalities that offer pleasure to whoever drinks them.
The Pim Pam Poom is brimming with funky purple berry skins and crunchy berry seeds, ripe red raspberry, strawberry, and cherry, violet flowers, rich slatey mineral notes, and cracked black peppercorns. Unaffected and utterly delicious, we love this fresh expression of Priorat Garnacha!
