Story
Roc de Belame IGP Syrah is a complex and intriguing wine and is actually made by renowned Alsatian wine producer Julian Schaal. Smoky and woody on the nose with a rich aroma of black fruits. The Montagne Noire (Black Mountain) takes its name from a small range of mountains in central southern France to the north of Minervois, which forms a distant backdrop to many Languedoc vineyards, the highest peak reaches 1210m. The region still retains its wild spectacular scenery and unspoilt terrain. This range encompasses two wines, a fresh and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc from the Côtes de Gascogne and a complex and intriguing Syrah from the Pays d’Oc.
