The Petit Roubie Picpoul de Pinet is produced by Olivier and Floriane Azan. This duo is originally from a family of apple growers near Montpellier. They made the move into growing vines back in 1981 with the purchase of the Château Petit Roubié estate, which then comprised just 15 hectares. Situated in the village of Pinet, overlooking the Etang de Thau, the Domaine offers a range of organically produced wines.
The Petit Roubie Picpoul de Pinet is a dry white wine of a pale gold colour with shiny reflections pearly green. The complex nose combines with dominant floral aromas, a white peach scent and exotic pineapple flavours. Round and bold, it quickly becomes lively in the mouth. Its acid-alcohol balance highlights its fruity aromas. On the finish, it’s long and fat leaves suggestive notes of citrus fruits and white fruits.
