The Nutbourne Vineyards Nutty Wild is produced by the adventurous Bridget Gladwin back in 1991. Since then she has grown the Nutbourne brand to having several still and a handful of sparkling wines.
The “Terroir” at Nutbourne is a unique and ideal wine growing environment – a warm microclimate protected by the South Downs, gentle south-facing slopes and the same fertile greensand soil as the Champagne region in France. There are 26 acres (and growing) under vine.
The Vineyard is considered one of the premier wine producers in the South East, offering a range of estate grown still and sparkling wines which are highly competitive worldwide.
The Nutty Wild is an exceptional tipple, it’s refreshingly light and delicate with a slight pink shadow from the Pinot Noir used.
This is a natural wine made with wild yeasts and is naturally low in alcohol at only 10%.
