The Falerio Oris Bianco is from Azienda Vitivinicola Ciù Ciù, in the villages of Offida and Acquaviva Picena in the Ascoli Piceno Province. The wine is produced by Massimiliano Bartolomei and is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. So-named because the current owner’s great grandfather worked for the local railway company, this 150-hectare organic estate was established in 1970 in Contrada Ciafone, on the Adriatic coast of Le Marche and is now under the direction of brothers Massimiliano and Walter Bartolomei. The vineyards lie among the rolling hills of the countryside in Le Marche’s Offida region where the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, combined with 300m of altitude creates a unique micro-climate which ensures exceptional growing conditions. The vineyard growing systems have that low environmental, as well as biological impact, that made the Ciù Ciù wines famous in the local and now international market.
Today the brothers Massimiliano and Walter, thanks to the passion and experience of their father Natalino, continue the job of vine-growing. The farm, in the centre DOCG Offida production area, has a vineyard of 180 ha. In the striking and charming Marche’s Hills, the time seems to be stopped to tell everyone the history and its origins. A little ancient world where the past lives in the presents and the solidity of its traditions blends with the strength of the innovations in the continuous search of the quality. In the family-run business, the firm works with a group of technicians that have the aim to restore the oenology and the wine history of the wines of Marche.
The Falerio Oris Bianco is a blend of three native grapes that is so easy to drink. Apple-pulp and white pear follow the nose of white flowers. The wine fills the mouth but is also fresh and moreish.
Suitable for both vegetarians and vegans, and certified Organic.
