El Mozo Malaspiedras is from El Mozo, which is a small family project with more than 40 years of history located in Lanciego (Rioja Alavesa). They have 9 hectares of vineyards spread over 18 small plots all in Lanciego, they base our project in traditional, sustainable and organic viticulture and the winemaking as natural as possible. The team respect each and every one of the vineyards that their parents and our grandparents left them, all are little gems, that in some cases were planted more than 70 years ago.
The El Mozo Malaspiedras has intense, fleshy garnet tones, and classic bright red and black fruit character from a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha. Juicy and vibrant on the palate with firm, textured tannins. A bold deep natural Rioja, with luscious black forest fruits and a vanilla oak presence. Soft yet clean and fresh on the finish
