Story
Domaine de la Courtade is a jewel of Provence, located in the heart of a unique and exceptional setting: the island of Porquerolles, 1,250 hectares of breathtakingly beautiful nature 15 kilometres from the mainland facing Hyères. Born in 1983 under the leadership of Henri Vidal, the estate was taken over in 2014 by Edouard Carmignac. A true wine and art enthusiast, he then undertook a vast program to revive the estate and the vineyard. The vineyard is restructured with 8 hectares of vines replanted, and the cultivation of the vines already in organic is now carried out according to the principles of biodynamics. A true place of life and sharing, the La Courtade estate now includes a contemporary art museum supported by the Carmignac Foundation.
Named after a mythical dragon, this wine is less fiery and more fruity. The soft, light texture is immediately attractive and open. A blend of five grapes, it has a spicy, fruity aftertaste. Drink now. Wine Mag
