The Domaine Dupeuble Beaujolais winery is located in the hamlet of Le Breuil, which is in the deep south of Beaujolais Terres dorées. Damien Dupeuble runs the 42-hectare Domaine today, with the whole family involved in either the viticulture, winemaking or marketing of their wines.
The wines are harvested from the south-facing 50-100-year-old vines which are Organic. Every grape is manually harvested, with only wild yeasts used and no chaptalisation or filtration. The result is wines of succulent, vibrant red fruit with wonderful clarity and purity.
This AOC Beaujolais is full of morello cherry, blackcurrants and raspberry fruit on the palate. It’s medium-bodied and smooth, with a slightly rustic finish.
