A rich duck stew, a Sunday lunch, or even a cheese platter with ripe, soft cheeses will provide the perfect plethora of food for this bottle to be the perfect accompaniment.
The grapes for Tradition 2016 are picked and sorted in the field. Upon arriving at the winery, They are then put into tanks for 4 to 6 weeks to allow a slow extraction, guaranteeing a perfect expression of the terroir. The wines are then aged for 12 months on lees to express the fruit and finesse. The soils surrounding the Bordeaux chateau are rich in clay and limestone with a rocky basement. this gives a great combination of being able to supply the water and minerals to the vines whilst maintaining good drainage to prevent the loss of flavour concentration in the grapes.
