Cellers Ànima Negra Quibia Blanco is a blend of Premsal and Callet grapes fermented in cement vats and stainless steel tanks followed by several months of lees ageing. The Ànima Negra vineyard was founded in 1994 by Pere Obrador and Miguel Angel Cerdà together with Francesc Grimalt a local oenologist who has a profound knowledge of the varietals and topography of his island. Felanitx is located to the South East of the island and the surrounding vineyards and situated on poor, stony soil with very little rainfall and intense summer heat. The winery produces its wines in the old country estate of Son Burguera with the building dating back to the 13th century.
The AN Quibia Blanco has an enticing straw-lemon in colour with greenish reflections, Quíbia offers pleasantly unusual notes of white peach, pear, sea brine and jasmine. On the palate, the wine is weighty with a creamy texture and concentrated flavours but at the same time fresh, delicate and well balanced.
