The Casa de Si Pablito Garnacha is produced at Casa de Si in the village of Ateca in Moros-Calatayud, by two Australian winemakers, Sarah Morris and Iwo Jakimowicz and locals Robert and Fernando Gracia Judez. Casa de Si’s mission is to handcraft natural wines, which are expressive of the vineyard and sub-regions of Calatayud. The Casa de Si Pablito Garnacha is a pure Garnacha, hand-harvested from low-yielding old vines grown at altitude in Calatayud, in Aragon, SE Spain. Naturally fermented in stainless steel aged in large French oak puncheons (40% new) for 12 months with no additives only minimal sulphur at bottling.
The Casa de Si Pablito Garnacha is based on a traditional Joven style, Pablito is a young juicy Garnacha, fruit driven with ripe plums, cherry skins, and leather, great tannin, and length.
