The Capdevielle rose is produced at Capdevielle and Ginter which is located in Vidauban, Provence.
In the summer the location of the valley allows cooling breezes which lead to a slower and more progressive maturation of the grapes, giving the wines fine aromatic structure. Harvests are completely manual over the course of six weeks, always in the morning when temperatures are cooler.
There are notes of citrus fruit, followed by peach, then red fruits, with a light dash of fresh mint and garrigue herbs. This wine has a pleasant finish; it is well balanced and clean, with pure flavours of pink pomelos and white-fleshed cherries.
