This elegant Friuliano is a white wine produced by the Antonutti Vini winery in Friuli, Italy. Antonutti Vini has been around for almost 100 years (1921) and has been run by the Durandi family for 4 generations. In addition to the well-known grapes, they have a passion for indigenous grapes that are growing less and less. The wines of Antonutti are known for their excellent balance. This is because the grapes are selected with great care. Only the best grapes find their way to the press where they are vinified in stainless steel barrels after pressing. The white wines are known for their freshness and elegance. The wines are harmoniously connected to the region where they come from; the Friuli region. Harmonious in taste and smell, but also in the colour of their labels in which the different colours are equal to the different scents, tastes, bouquets, sun, water and the air of beautiful Friuli.
They are made from both local and international varieties and are vinified in stainless-steel tanks: the whites are fresh and elegant, the reds are aged in large oak barrels and show personality and structure. Born in close harmony with the environment, these wines recall the Grave del Friuli region, not only in their essence and aromas but also in their labels. This sensational Deep straw yellow coloured Friuliano has a nose that exhibits pronounced flowery flavours followed by the typical bitter almond note. A clean palate unfolds with remarkable freshness. This wine ages pretty well – at 3/4 years or more if stored in ideal conditions.
