For those of you that are new to our blog, Pull The Cork and the world of sustainable wine – Pull The Cork is increasingly quickly building to be the pivotal online platform for sustainable wine for all types of wine-lovers. Below is me (James) on the right, and Rob – Rob runs a wine company of his own – and we are proud to be able to be the only online retailer to sell his lovely Organic Italian wines!
Over the weekend we were present at the ‘Go Organic Festival’ in Battersea Park. This was our first of many consumer-facing events in the 7 months we have been operating, and there was a lot of promising feedback coming from our customers. So positive in fact, that we sold out both days – this for me was perfect, as I was able to sample as much food and wine as possible from other small business owners!
On the last day of the festival (Sunday), we coincidentally got our stunning white Vinho Verde on stage with Melissa Hemsley. For those of you that don’t know Melissa; Melissa is an incredibly influential food writer and cook – she is the other half of Hemsley + Hemsley (a sister duo) who both share a passion for living well and enjoying delicious, nutrient-dense food. They believe in the nourishing power of real food and that eating well and cooking from scratch can be easy, affordable and enjoyable for everyone. They started back in 2010 as a bespoke service aimed at helping people with their digestion and relationship with food and teaching the importance of gut health – which falls perfectly in line with Pull The Cork and the sustainable wine market, and the importance it has on your health.
Over the next month, we are offering to all our Blog subscribers a special 15% – if you’re interested in this generous offer, please checkout using the coupon code Go Organic.
If you’re into food – make sure you head out and purchase her new book!!
